This Refund and Cancellation Policy outlines the terms for cancelling a reservation and requesting a refund at Whippoorwill Campground (“we,” “us,” “our”). By making a reservation, you agree to the terms below.
1. Cancellation Policy
We understand that plans can change. To receive a refund, cancellations must be made within the following timeframes:

More than 14 days before arrival: Full refund, minus a $25 processing fee.

Between 7 and 14 days before arrival: 50% refund of the total reservation cost.

Less than 7 days before arrival: No refund.
All cancellation requests must be submitted by phone or in writing via email to be valid.
2. No-Show Policy
Guests who do not arrive on their scheduled check-in date and do not provide prior notice of cancellation will be considered a “no-show.” The full reservation amount will be forfeited, and the site will be released for re-booking.
3. Early Departure & Weather
Refunds are not provided for early departure or for weather-related conditions, except in cases of mandatory evacuation ordered by local authorities. We recommend purchasing travel insurance for unforeseen circumstances.
4. Reservation Modifications
Changes to your reservation dates are subject to availability and must be requested at least 7 days prior to your original arrival date. Modifications may be subject to rate differences.
5. Refund Method
Approved refunds will be issued back to the original form of payment within 7-10 business days of the cancellation confirmation.
